GOSH Velvet Touch Lip Liner in Simply Red

 

  After a disappointing experience with Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick in Valentine I thought all was lost and nothing would make it stay on my lips.  After a clear out of my makeup I discovered GOSH Velvet Touch Lip Liner in Simply Red.  I had bought it ages ago when I bought MAC Ruby Woo and since that lipstick doesn't need a lip liner, I forgot about it.

  Simply Red is a dull and neutral red which makes it wearable with all different tones of red lipsticks (which is why I've swatched it above with all my reds).  It didn't alter the colour of Lancome Valentine and amazingly enough my lipstick didn't bleed all day long!  GOSH claims this lip liner to be waterproof and I have to agree.  You really have to scrub to get it off.  Despite it's long wearing qualities this lip liner is super creamy and doesn't tug and pull when you apply it.

  I generally have little need for lip liners but this one definately saved the day when it came to a bad perfoming lipstick.  If I ever need a lip liner again I'll definately be picking up another GOSH Velvet Touch Lip Liner.

    ooooh good to know! I have a few reds that bleed like crazy, and a long lasting red liner is right up my alley. They just started carrying some GOSH products at Walgreens so hopefully I can find it :)

      And it's better than my MAC ones, I forgot to say! It's amazing for the price.

    I can't believe such a cheap product performs so well (well I can actually but it just goes to show doesn't it) thanks for this, I need to get one I think. I always wear red lipstick and it bleeds a lot! You look lovely by the way :)

      It's not as bold in real life but that's good as it doesn't alter your lip colour.

      I saw GOSH in Superdrug when I was in the UK a year and a half ago! Unless they stopped carrying the brand.
