E.L.F. Studio Blush in Twinkle Pink

E.L.F. is a brand that I've wanted to try out for a long time but couldn't due to their high shipping prices.  You can get some of their products at FTB Beauty Canada and shipping is around $7.  Jasmine sent this to me when we did a "kinda" swap.  She offered to send me some American goodies to get me through my shopping ban and I sent her some Bourjois, Canadian candy, and some other Canadian bits and bobs as a thanks (but I need to send her more!).

Twinkle Pink is what I'd call a "seashell pink" and has a lot of shimmer and glitter running through it.  I love shimmery blushes as it means I can skip using highlighter but if you prefer matte blushes this isn't the one for you.  I love the packaging of the E.L.F. Studio products as they're very sleek and look a lot like Nars without the annoying rubber texture.

This blush is insanely powdery so you have to be very careful when you apply it.  It's very pigmented though and you just need the tinest bit.  Twinkle Pink only last a few hours on me before I had to reapply it which is something I don't need to do with any of my other powder blushes.  I don't really mind though because the colour is very pretty and otherwise the quality of this blush is pretty good.

If I had the chance to buy another of these I don't think I would since both Wet N' Wild and Sleek have comparily priced blushes that are much better quality.

  4. Thanks so much for the mention! I agree with you about the quality of the blushes, which is why we don't stock them. I'm currently working my way through trying all of the ELF products so that we can only carry the good stuff! <3

  6. Oh this is so pretty!! Part of the reason why I am so excited for Target is the cosmetics they carry (Elf, Sonia Kashuk etc..)

    1. Yeah all the ELF stuff that I do own I got at Winners. It's hit or miss with their selection though.

  9. Not much staying power, huh? I've been using a mineral elf blush lately. It's a loose powder and I only need the tiniest amount, but it only lasts maybe an hour even with primer and setting spray!

    1. Maybe these are the ones I need to try! They have so much it's overwhelming to find out what's good and what's bad.
