MAC Lipstick in Rebel

 

  MAC Rebel Lipstick was my first "dark" lipstick and the shade that made me crave even darker colours.  I bought this on a whim in late 2011 and it took a lot of courage for me to eventually wear it out and when I did it was love.

  Rebel is a dark berry shade with a hint of brightness that makes it very easy to wear.  It is a "Satin" finish meaning it is neither matte nor glossy, just the perfect inbetween.  The formula of this lipstick is creamy and when it fades it leaves a nice stain behind.

  Although Rebel can be described as bold I sometimes want it to be even darker so I pair it with MAC Lip Pencil in Vino underneath, usually for when I go out at night.  It does not however need a lip liner as it doesn't bleed or smudge all over your face.  Overall this is my favourite MAC lipstick I've tried both in terms of colour and formula.

    It does look great on you! This is my favorite berry shade and possibly my favorite MAC color of all time! I just love it! In October and November you can't pay me to wear another lip color, heh heh.

    I've heard so much about this lipstick, I really want the plunge but not sure If i can justify the price! Mac please stop with the increases! xxx

      Eeek I know. These lipsticks are made in one town over from me yet we have to pay more here than US customers! I'm trying to find a dupe though :)
