MAC Pearlmatte Powder in Veronica's Blush

Sorry for the scary flash picture.  This was difficult to photograph in natural light.
Ok so I didn't break my shopping ban, this is my Valentines gift from my boyfriend.  Since it came today he let me have it early for the sake of my blog (isn't he perfect?).

Firstly, I loved Archie's comics as a kid which is the number 1 reason I wanted something from this collection.  My non-makeup obsessed sister even went nuts over the packaging.  Veronica's blush is 3 products in one: a pale pink highlighter (Play it Proper), a matte blush (Frankly Scarlet), and when mixed it creates a shimmery light pink blush.  Frankly Scarlet is a permanent blush and it reminds me of a matte version of MAC blush in Dollymix.

I have only tried this powder with both colours mixed together and I love it.  There seems to be a lot of shimmery peach and coral blushes on the market but I have been searching for years for the perfect shimmery pink.  I think I've found it in this product and I'm very grateful that my boyfriend bought it for me.

Availability: MAC counters and stores on Thursday February 7 (this is sold out online). $35.
