Fashionista Blush Palette

This is another item I received from Jess who blogs at J.S and Makeup.  Fashionista is a fairly new makeup brand that I had never tried before so I was excited to get this blush palette.  Unfortunately one of the blushes didn't last the long journey from England to Canada but I was able to depot it and it works as a loose blush.  Fashionista are sold at Superdrug stores in the U.K. and you can mix and match different blushes, bronzers, highlighters, and eyeshadows to fit into custom palettes.

The three blushes Jess picked out for me are Juicy Apricot (shimmery peach), Blushing Coral (hot pink), and Butterscotch (neutral pink).  These blushes are intensley pigmented, especially Juicy Apricot but had varying degrees of lasting abilities.  Juicy Apricot and Butterscotch lasted throughout the day with little fading whereas Blushing Coral had to be touched up.

Despite being big enough for 4 blushes, this palette is sleek enough to fit into my makeup bag and has a huge mirror inside.  It was impossible to take pictures of the outside of the palette as it's reflective but it's a shiney black with "Fashionista" printed all over it.  I really like the concept of these palettes as it's hard to find custom palettes in the drugstore.

As far as I know Fashonista products are only sold at Superdrug and I can't even find them on eBay.  If you're lucky enough to be going to the U.K. or know someone who is travelling there I really recommend picking these blushes up.  My parents are going to Scotland this summer so I'm going to ask for some eyeshadows to help fill my palette.

    1. It's probably because I applied less since it was so bright! I don't mind though since it's a pretty colour :)
