Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

I have heard a lot of hype about Milani's Baked Blushes so I was excited to try them when Jasmine sent me the shade "Luminoso".  This blush is baked and in is shaped like a dome, much like MAC Mineralize Blushes.  I have never tried those blushes before so I cannot compare the two.

This shade is known to be a dupe of Nars Orgasm and since I don't own it anymore I swatched it alongside my other coral blushes.  As you can see it is much more peach than my other blushes so I think it's pretty different than Nars Orgasm which is more pink.

Luminoso looks shimmery in the pan but this doesn't transfer to your face.  I really like this shade as it's very bright which suits my fair skin.  This blush is also very pigmented so you need just the tiniest bit.  It is shimmery in the pan but it just as a subtle sheen when on the skin.

The only downside of this product to me is the packaging.  It's way too bulky and I never use the brushes that come with blushes.  Since I'm so clumbsy I've already broken the packaging :(((( .  Luckily the blush didn't crack, so if anyone has depotted these please let me know.

Availability: FTB Beauty Canada, $8 (shipping is around $7)

    1. You can get Milani at Superstore? Lol I'm so out of the loop since we have none here. I'll check a Superstore out next time I leave the city.

    1. Thank you :) I want to try it so badly as I've really been wanting Naked 2 but can't justify that price.

  6. This looks so pretty and I wanted Stereo Rose so bad - after it had already sold out and I realized how perfect it was! So I am definitely going to check out this Milani blush since it looks like a good enough dupe!

  8. I agree, I own both Luminoso and Orgasm and I find them very different.
I actually depotted Luminoso. It doesn't come in a pan, it's just baked in a terracotta pot thing (it's really strange, you'll see it if you do end up depotting) so you can just pry it out by squeezing something thin and sharp like a needle between the blush and the plastic and wiggling it a bit. xxx

    1. I have depotted this but it's hard to attach a magnet to the back since it's in a clay pan. I think I'll be gluing it into a travel makeup jar.
