Topshop Cream Blush in Neon Rose

When I reviewed Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy and gave it away in my giveaway it seemed like a really popular item, especially for people who live in countries where there is no Sephora.  Today I bring to you a dupe that I own and that I know a lot of other bloggers probably have kicking around in their collection too.

I tend to prefer powder blushes over cream ones but after seeing my sister wear Topshop Cream Blush in Neon Rose I really liked how it looked and ordered it when they had free shipping online.  Upon receiving Neon Rose I discovered that it is was a slightly more orange version of Tarte Tipsy yet it looks identical on my cheeks.  Neon Rose looks very scary in the pan but as you can see it looks very natural and brightening when on.

Topshop Cream Blushes dry to a powder finish and you can easily apply them either before or after you powder your face.  My prefered method for applying cream blush is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush but I have admittedly used my fingers before too :)  This blush does however fade very quickly so I do have to touch it up.  Luckily Topshop's packaging is very sleek and light so it's easy to carry it around.

Even in Canada where Topshop makeup is drastically over priced this is much cheaper than Tarte's blush.  Topshop also offer a 10% student discount, which is handy if you are a student or can bring a student with you (luckily my sister is a student).

Availability: Topshop @ The Bay in major Canadian cities

  8. I swear to god I'm not a copy cat, I have a post just like this queued for next week! Ha! I do love layering these too because I find it lasts 20xs longer! So glad I won that blush I use it just about every day! I wish I could easily get my hands on more top shop makeup, as far as my knowledge goes they don't sell in the US.

    1. Haha no that's cool I'm looking forward to see what you think of it! I'm glad you love the blush! You can get Topshop makeup in the U.S. They have it on the American website and I bought some at the NYC store.

  9. I have never tried any of the topshop products, but this looks like a great shade! & you are right, it does look a little scary in the pan, at first sight I would be a little put off by it

  10. Gosh, this is such a stunning shade! I wish the Topshop makeup line wasn't quite as pricey, but items like this would be worth it!

And I replied to your last comment on my blog, but thought I'd reply here as well... Thanks for the tips about the Real Techniques brushes! I know exactly where Designer Cosmetics is- that's where I buy a lot of my nail polishes and NYX goodies. Will check there for sure and will continue to stalk the Dufferin Mall Wal-Mart ;) Thanks again!

    1. It's so annoying they marked up everything here! Designer Cosmetics is the best ever isn't it?

    2. I was so happy when I found that place! Especially since I'd been dying to try more NYX products and they carry the entire line! Their deals on nail polish are great too and their selection can't be beat :)

  11. This colour is gorgeous, just not the colour I was expecting when they called it rose. Love that it's a dupe for Tipsy though, I prefer cream cheek colours in the summer!

    1. Yeah it's not rose at all! But I suppose roses do come in orangey colours. Me too, cream is much more comfortable in intense heat.

  13. Topshop Cream Blush in "Neon Rose" is a vibrant and highly pigmented blush with a creamy texture. The shade "Neon Rose" delivers a bold pop of rosy color, adding a lively flush to the cheeks. How Chat Fix It blends smoothly and provides a radiant, dewy finish. Ideal for those seeking a fresh and youthful complexion.
