Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

Today I'm sharing with you one of my favourite affordable summer lip colours.  Revlon's Lip Butters have been around for awhile now and I'm sure most of you have tried them.  Lip Butters are a hybrid of a lip balm and lipstick and come in a huge selection of colours.  They're very comfortable to wear and for a moisturising formula they stay put and don't smudge and smear (on me atleast!).  Since the formula of Revlon Lip Butters is slighlty sheer the colours will show up differently depending on your natural lip colour and skintone.

Tutti Frutti is a bright coral that appears almost reddish on my light skin tone.  If I have a tan this does look slightly lighter and I've seen it appear almost peach on people with darker skin.  The term "universally flattering" is a bold one but I really think this colour will suit everyone.  If you're afraid of bright lip colours this is one to try as the sheerness makes it less in your face.

There are two annoying features of Revlon Lip Butters when it comes to wearing them in the summer.  Number 1 is that they melt!  Do not leave them in your car or take them along with you on a long walk.  Number 2 is that since they're glossy if you have long hair they will get stuck on your lips if it's windy out.  Despite these two factors they're easy to just pop on when it's really hot out and you don't want to wear too much makeup.

Availability: $7.49-10.49 CAD mass retailers

  3. Lol I thought you were going to say that you didn't like how they slip off very easily. I never noticed that, but yeah they do melt quite easily! Especially if you leave it in your car!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by my site. Now following you back on gfc and bloglovin. :D
