Just a quick post before I pop out to Ikea (YAY Swedish meatballs and Daim cake!). These are products I either discovered or used a lot throughout the month of January.
Joe Fresh Nail Polish in Colbalt: Review HERE. I love this bright blue shade and this nail polish is such good quality.
MAC 167 Brush: I've never been a fan of face powder brushes (I've always used puffs) but I received this as part of a set for Christmas and this brush has totally changed my opinion!
MAC Dollymix Blush: The perfect partner for vampy lips. Review HERE.
NARS Albatros Highlighter: One of the few NARS products that I think is worth the hype. Leaves skin with a beautiful pearly glow.
Urban Deay Primer Potion: When Sephora didn't have my former holy grail eyeshadow primer (Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance) I picked up this instead and I love it even more.
GOSH Simply Red Lip Liner: Saved the day by making a crappy lipstick last. Review HERE.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Rollerball: My sister got this for my for Christmas and I love it since this scent brings back so many memories.
Real Techniques Eyeshadow Brushes: These are 2 out of 5 brushes that come with a set and I've been loving these brushes this month.
Soap & Glory Hand Food: I finally picked this up about hearing it raved about for years and I think I've found my new favourite hand cream! It was $10 and is barely empty after me using this religiously all month.

ReplyDeleteOops! I fixed it. Thanks for letting me know.
DeleteGorgeous favourites! I love the look of the blush, and the Real techniques brushes are always in my favourites! xo
ReplyDeleteIt took me awhile to realize how great they are admittedly but now I prefer them over everything else.
DeleteJealous of your swedish meatballs. Damn those are good. Closest Ikea is 8+ hours from here.
ReplyDeleteI really have to give that Urban Decay primer a go! I have super oily eyelids so I'm always on the hunt for a good eye primer!
Awwww no :( If I could send you their frozen meatballs I would haha. I hadn't used it in years and it's much better than I remember.
DeleteYes to Nars Albatross! It's lovely. I love your favourites here, they're great. X x
ReplyDeleteIsn't it stunning?
DeleteGreat favourites, I haven't used any of these though! The Joe Fresh nail polish looks like a great shade, I have a few from their line :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to try more but I'll wait until Spring :)
DeleteGreat picks! I love reading these posts although it does tend to make me add to my ever growing wish list! Swear by Primer Potion xx
ReplyDeleteMe too, I love seeing what people love so I have a huge mental wishlist haha.
DeleteI've always wondered about NARS albatross, I've swatched it in store, but just was like meh... so I guess I need to try it on :) And I went the opposite way with eye primer from UD primer Potion to Too Faced Shadow Insurance, but honestly sometimes I think a little concealer works just as well. I need to get my hands on some HAND FOOD too!
ReplyDeleteIt never attracted me either but then I saw my friend wearing it and ran out and bought it lol. I used to use the UD Primer years ago but when it was in the annoying packaging which is why I swithced to Too Faced.
DeleteI keep hearing such great things about real Techniques brushes and I haven't gotten any yet, one of these days I'll get around to buying them.
ReplyDeleteThey're so nice and still soft after lots of washes :)
DeleteI'm loving the Real Technique brushes, but have yet to buy any MAC brushes. S&G Hand Food is brilliant! Great post lovely!

MAC brushes are such a hit and miss so I'd say avoid them if you already have the RT brushes. Thanks :)

It is! I'm now able to wear eyeshadows that aren't very pigmented that I had not been wearing before.
DeleteOh I'm a sucker for brushes, are these real hair brushes? They are the best in my opinion. Let me know when you get the veronica highlighter and what you think of it, can't decide what to buy next from the MAC archies girls range :) xx
ReplyDeleteThey're synthetic but despite that they work great with powders! I'm a bit worried about the order since my bf logged into my account but used his card. It's yet to even be shipped :(
Deletethe MAC blush looks lovely and I really want the Real Techniques set to add to the collection purely for the 2 brushes you mentioned xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is totally worth it for those brushes! It's a shame you can't buy them on their own as the other brushes aren't that great.
