Makeup Rotation: February 4-9

 

  Phew!  My last week of giving each and everyone one of my lipsticks a chance to be worn.  Doing this has helped me give a lot of colours a second chance and realise how I own enough lipsticks (for now anyway!).

  As most of my lipsticks are light pinks, that's what I'm mainly left with on my last week.  I used to only wear light lip colours but in the past year I've been more in love with dark and bright lipsticks.  Light lip colours will help me give a chance to areas of my collection: my dark eyeshadows and bright blushes.

  I have a bunch of new favourite lipsticks from doing this so expect MANY many more lipstick reviews in the future.

      It's a very easy to wear colour! One of the very few lipsticks I've ever repurchased :)

    I LOVE all of them! Like you I also have an addiction to light pink lipsticks but can often be disappointed when I actually try them on at home. Which do you recommend? I like the look of L'Oreal Cotton Pink xx

      I've always had an issue with not using everything I buy so it helped teach me a lesson that's for sure :)

    Such pretty pinks! I may have to try NYX Tokyo, because I love a matte pinkand the color looks just right!

    I love that you wore pretty, feminine lipsticks all week and had that one dark day of Rebel! ;p
    All of these are gorgeous and I've always wondered about the NYX matte creams like that. Looks really pretty in the swatch!

    I only really wear light lipsticks but I'm trying to be brave and wear brighter colours too! These shades are really pretty :) I've been wanting to try an NYX matte lip cream for a while now.

      I think once you start wearing bright colours it's hard to go back to pale ones.
