My Post Shopping Ban Wishlist

I officially have only a month left of my 100 day spending ban.  As someone who is used to blowing half their pay cheque every two weeks, it was hard.  I did receive makeup as gifts and did three makeup swaps during my ban but I technically didn't buy anything for myself.

I have enjoyed using up makeup I own as I rediscovered old favourites and fell in love with products I had pushed aside.  When it comes to buying makeup again on or after April 8th I'll be buying products I know I'll use and love.  I of course want more but I'm being realistic in what I can afford and get good use out of.

I'm loving that Rimmel has finally released alot more products in Canada.  Our selection used to be really limited and their new products look and sound amazing based on reviews I've read.  I would love to try the Wake Me Up foundation and concealer as well as the felt tip liquid eyeliner, but once I run out of my current products of course.

I'd also like some new brushes and I think the MAC 266 brush would be the best fit to use black eyeshadow as eyeliner.  I don't often use black eyeshadow so that way I can use up the ones I have in palettes.  The Real Techniques Stippling Brush looks amazing and since I don't own a large stippling brush I know I'll use it a lot.

I'm really loving the Maybelline Color Whisper in Oh La La Lilac and Wet N' Wild Color Icon Palette in Knock on Wood so I'd like to try more of each product.

Nail polish isn't something I'm lacking but I did have a clear out of my collection and threw out all the dried up polishes.  I've never tried Illamasqua polishes and the new Speckled ones look amazing so I'll treat myself to one.  I don't have any nude polishes in my collection and I've heard a lot of good things about Essie Sand Tropez.

I'll probably be buying more clothes before I splurge on makeup again but hopefully you'll see the products above pop up on my blog this spring.

  1. The RT Stippling Brush is great! I thoroughly recommend it so definitely purchase it when you have the chance. It makes foundation application so easy and gives a great finish. Wake me Up foundation is also sooo good for the price. I really want to try the concealer aswell x x

  8. Good picks - that Rimmel eyeliner looks fun! I have the RT stippling brush and it is very nice, I use it for cream/liquid blushes. I need to go on a ban, I may do it staring in April!

    1. Yeah I'm thinking it'll be great for summer since that's when I tend to wear a lot of cream blushes :) I do not recommend 100 days though haha.
