N0. 7 Protect & Perfect Eye Cream

I received this eye cream in my swap with Jasmine since I had mentioned I'd like to start using eye cream.  Now I get told I look young for my age all the time yet I am starting to notice fine lines and darkness under my eyes.  I know for a fact that under my eyes are going to be the first place to wrinkle so I'd like to keep that area moisturised to prevent it from getting too bad.

I am always afraid of trying new skin care items but I read good reviews on N0. 7 Protect & Perfect Eye Cream so I was excited to test it out.  I've been wearing it for a month and a half so I feel like I can give it a decent and fair review.

N0. 7 have very wisely packaged this cream in a tube so not only is it sanitary it'll be easy to get out the last bit of it.  I use just a little dot under each eye and at night only.  This cream dries fairly quickly so you could easily wear it in the daytime too.

Upon first application this cream stung under my eyes but I kept with it in hopes that my skin would get used to it.  Luckily the stinging went away and I can easily wear it without any irritation.  I haven't noticed my under eye area brightening up but I feel like this cream is more of a prevenative thing.

N0. 7 makeup and the Boots Botanic line have been pulled out of Shoppers Drugmart yet you can still get the main N0. 7 line and  I found this at my local Shoppers.  Target should have this too but I have yet to make it out to a Canadian location yet so I can't guarentee that.

Overall I have enjoyed using this cream but I think I will look for something that will give more immediate results once I run out.

Availability: Shoppers Drug Mart $23

P.S.: I'd like to give a shout out to Meesha from Strawberry Hearts and Chocolate Darts.  Thanks for nomintating me for the Versitile Blogger Award :)

  1. I think mine is the same as this although the packaging seems slightly different here. I found it to sting too but that also wore off. I agree, I really like it but can't help thinking there are better products xx

  3. hmm... I don't even use eye cream yet. I probably should start, but I have no idea what sort of product I should look for or consider! I rub my eyes way too much.... don't want to get wrinkles before I'm even 20 :P

    1. You could probably wait a few more years but the sooner you look after your skin the better! I am starting to get fine lines under my eyes and on my cheekbones and I'm only 26 :(

  6. The stinging worries me even if it goes away. I like this sort of packaging though. I hate it when I have to dig my finger and nails into a jar.

    1. Yeah I don't know if the stinging was a sign of irritation or it doing it's stuff. I agree, too many eye creams seem to come in jars.
